The price of repairs on the motorway will increase from December 1st

In December, the rates for repairs and towing on motorways will increase again. An increase set at 2.87%.

Motorists will have to deal with a new increase in motorway repair and towing rates from December 1, 2024. The decree published at the end of October provides for an increase of 2.87%, bringing the minimum cost of a standard intervention to 148 .67 euros for a vehicle of less than 3.5 tonnes during the day, compared to 144.52 euros previously.

Increases in the evening and on weekends, as well as for vehicles over 1.8 tonnes

These prices, set each year by the government, vary depending on the time and day of the intervention. A 50% increase applies in the evening, at night, on weekends and on public holidays. Thus, for a repair between 6 p.m. and 8 a.m., the price rises to 223.01 euros. The cost is even higher for vehicles weighing more than 1.8 tonnes, reaching 275.75 euros in increased cases. Since 2012, the cost of repairs has jumped by more than 21%, a result of the increase in costs for specialized companies: fuel, equipment renewal and new standards.
