Nicole Kidman is approaching sixty. On this occasion, she spoke about her vision of life and the passing of time: a source of anxiety for the actress.
A new milestone to pass. Nicole Kidman was interviewed by the British version of “GQ” magazine this Monday, November 18. During this interview, the actress returned to her relationship with mortality and the anxieties that her advanced age causes her.
Speaking to “GQ”, the actress who will celebrate her 58th birthday next June, spoke of the various emotions that life gives her as it passes by. She reveals that she is relatively stressed by “mortality”: “Life is definitely an adventure. And, it hits you harder as you get older. Sometimes I wake up at three in the morning, I cry, I suffocate with anxiety…”

A notion of mortality which has struck her particularly since the recent loss of her mother last September. Indeed, Nicole Kidman had already had to overcome the ordeal of grieving a parent at the time of the death of her father in September 2014. The actress continues her confidences by affirming: “Losing your parents and raising children , marriage and all the things that come and go that make you feel human. » Before adding with nostalgia: “There is the dimension of mortality which is part of life. And when you start to look at it in the face, it’s very heavy. When you raise children, you say to yourself: ‘I have to stay here. I want to see all this. It’s devastating, beautiful and extraordinary at the same time.’

Nicole Kidman, constantly reinventing
If the actress seems to be anxious about the passage of time, Nicole Kidman has certainly not said her last word in the world of the seventh art.
