A low pressure system that is emerging risks generating showers in certain areas of Quebec starting this Wednesday, while temperatures will remain slightly above seasonal norms.
Environment Canada predicts alternating sun and clouds in Montreal and its surrounding areas with maximum temperatures of 8 degrees.
In the west of the province, the sky will be grayer, particularly in Abitibi-Témiscamingue, with a 30% probability of showers below 5 degrees.
The weather will also be cloudy in the center of the province with even intermittent drizzle in Saguenay, while the mercury will reach 8 degrees, particularly in Quebec.
The federal agency forecasts intermittent rain or drizzle in Eastern Quebec, where temperatures of 5 to 7 degrees are expected.
On the other hand, things are likely to get worse this evening or during the day on Thursday with rain and strong winds in most areas, and temperatures of 5 to 8 degrees.
The rainy weather will be accompanied by gusts of 40 km in the south and east of the province, or even 60 km/h in central areas, such as Estrie, Quebec and Saguenay.
