Messi repeats his legendary “que haces bobo” in the middle of a match

This is surely one of the sentences that will have most marked Lionel Messi's career. Very calm outside the green rectangle, Lionel Messi was out of his depth after the victory in the quarter-final of the World Cup against the Netherlands. In the middle of an interview, and while Wout Weghorst seemed to be waiting for him in the corridors to settle scores, the Argentine captain had released to him, on mondovision, a phrase that has since become legendary: “Qué miras bobo? (…) Anda pa' go, bobo!” (“What are you looking at, idiot? Get over there, idiot!”).

“What are you doing, idiot?”

Since then, this little capsule has become one of the symbols of Argentina's victory in the World Cup, with Cristiano Ronaldo even taking the liberty of using it with humor in one of his YouTube videos. But last night, the Inter Miami player did it again! Heckled by a Peruvian, he shouted “que hacés bobo?!” on the lawn. (what are you doing stupid?). Enough to delight his fans, especially after the 1-0 victory of the Argentines.
