Around noon, a worker was seriously injured during excavation work. He died of his injuries in hospital. According to initial information, this 42-year-old man found himself under a steel plate in the Parc des Primevères, on rue Félix-Antoine-Savard.
At 12:32 p.m., police, paramedics and firefighters were called to the scene to evacuate the victim. They provided first aid to the worker, who was in critical condition at the time.
