Snom, a German company specializing in VoIP, appoints Fabio Albanini, one of its sales managers, to the position of vice-president of global sales. Expansion into new markets, development of the global partner network and efficiency of business processes are among the main strategic objectives of the new VP.
Snom Technology, a German company specializing in IP telephony, announces the appointment of Fabio Albanini to the position of vice president of global sales. Fabio Albanini, who joined the Snom teams in 2009, is now responsible for the company’s overall commercial strategy.
A graduate in electronics and telecommunications, Fabio Albanini started his career as a Sales Manager within several companies in the sector (FileMaker, Altesys, Jabra) before joining Snom in 2009, first as Sales Chanel Manager then as Director sales for the area southern Mediterranean and United Kingdom, then the Emea zone.
As Vice President Sales, Fabio Albanini will focus on the implementation of strategic objectives. This includes the development of new target markets, both geographical and economic, in close collaboration with the product management and marketing department. It will also strengthen the partner network globally and develop new sales channels – especially in APAC regions to support customers. Finally, it will optimize sales processes through a continuous increase in efficiency.
“We are convinced [que Fabio Albanini] will take our sales team, both internationally and in the German-speaking region, to the next level,” says Gernot Sagl, PDG de Snom.
