Military industry: Moroccan strategy is taking shape

The 2025 Finance Bill (PLF) appears to be a cornerstone of Morocco’s strategic ambitions, particularly in the field of defense. Among the flagship measures, the tax exemption granted to companies operating in the military industry opens the way to accelerated development of this key sector, indicates the daily Eco Inspirations in its Wednesday, November 20 edition.

Quoted by the daily, Abderrahmane Mekkaoui, specialist in strategic and military issues, emphasizes that this measure is a strong signal sent to Moroccan and international companies, encouraging them to invest in this highly strategic sector. With these incentives, the Kingdom expects a rapid modernization of its industrial capabilities. It is now a question of manufacturing more sophisticated equipment, in partnership with international companies ready to transfer their technologies in sectors such as drones, ballistic missiles, parts for combat tanks or armored vehicles.
