“You think“, “bougnoules“, niggas“. Here are the insults that the girls of the U18 women's team from Plaisance-du-Touch on the western outskirts of Toulouse had to endure. It was last Saturday, November 16 between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m., during a trip to Lannemezan (Hautes-Pyrénées), on the Plateau Nestes Football pitch.
“Let measures be taken by the authorities”
On his websitethe club which filed the complaint specifies that these insults were uttered by opposing supporters in the public.
“Our players came to play football, their passion and their means of expression, and not to become the target of hatred and verbal violence“, deplores the club. “We strongly condemn these acts and demand that firm and rapid measures be taken by the competent authorities so that this type of behavior is punished in an exemplary manner.” .
US Plaisance is a football club in the Toulouse region which has several women's sections. Saturday's match concerned the U18 R1 accession championship, in which also play Eaunes-Labarthe-sur-Lèze or the Auscitaines of Heart of Gascony. The match in Lannemezan against Plateau Nestes Football on November 16 ended with a goalless draw (0-0).
On its Facebook and Instagram networks, the Lannemezanais club does not comment on these incidents.
