This Monday, November 18, 2024, the Abbé-Pierre Foundation revealed the winners of the worst anti-homeless measures during the 3rd Golden Peaks ceremony. These winners were decided following a major inventory campaign of the systems implemented in France. A jury then decided the winner in six different categories.

In one of them, a system set up in Charente was nominated. This is the category “Move out of there” which rewards the worst anti-precarious decree. The decree in question was issued by the Charente prefecture. This decree prohibited people from remaining static for long periods of time in public spaces.
