From this Thursday, November 21, a new edition of the Fil Passion Salon will set up shop at the Marsac Exhibition Center.

This is already the 6th edition of the Salon Fil passion! And if this year again, it returns even more enriched, for its organizer Michel Guérin, this is a sign that the enthusiasm is not about to dry up. “We had already felt the craze before Covid, but since then, and this is perhaps the only good thing that the health crisis has brought, people have rediscovered the arts of thread”, welcomes the one who declines this formula in five locations in .

An aisle dedicated to scrapbooking

“This type of show, which revolves around the arts of thread, exists very rarely in France,” whispers Michel Guérin who therefore meets enthusiasts, this Thursday, November 21, from 10 a.m., at the Marsac exhibition center. Sewing, patchwork, lace, we will have textile artists, but also creators coming to present their works. Jewelry, accessories, or clothing, “unique pieces will be offered for sale”.

Among the guests, Fil passion will receive, like last year, the American artist Karen Ann Milne. “Guest of honor, she comes to show works that have never before been presented in France,” confides Michel Guerin.

Among the more than 70 participants, the big novelty brought by this new edition will undoubtedly be an entire aisle dedicated to scrapbooking. “For several years, scrapbooking has been growing,” confirms the organizer who wanted to give this creative hobby its full place. In addition to activities for children, several workshops (some by reservation) will be available during the show.
