Violence and injuries after a match between Drulingen and Behren-lès-

The versions of the two clubs differ completely on what happened Saturday evening after the Regional 3 meeting played in Alsace Bossue. Contacted by telephone, the president of US Behren-lès- Youssef Oichikh explains that a Drulingen supporter allegedly hit one of his players leaving the pitch and that there were then blows exchanged between several of his players and supporters.

According to him, three players ended the night from Saturday to Sunday in the emergency room of the Forbach hospital center, with “large bruises and pain in their ribs”. They have since lodged a complaint with the Behren-lès-Forbach gendarmerie. The Moselle club, which lost the match 4 to 1, issued a statement on Facebook to denounce “gratuitous and unjustified violence”.

Two totally opposite versions of the incidents

On the side of SC Drulingenthe version of the facts completely diverges. For fear of reprisals, the members of the Bas-Rhin club, who witnessed these excesses, do not wish to speak about it publicly for the moment. But according to a witness to the scene, extremely shocked and who has not been able to sleep for two days, “we avoided the worst after this surge of violence.”

He explains that several supporters were victims of punches and kicks and mentions at least two injured, one with a broken nose, the other with a broken jaw. A teenager is believed to be among the victims. The gendarmes came to make the usual observations on site. But the Saverne gendarmerie, contacted this afternoon, did not wish to communicate on this matter, undoubtedly waiting to disentangle the truth from the falsehood.

The leaders of the Alsace Bossue club plan to meet this Tuesday evening to discuss the follow-up to these incidents. They could ask not to play their next championship match.

Repeated violence since the start of the season

At the Grand-Est League, organizer of this R3 match, we clearly explain having received the referee's report. The latter mentioned many scuffles, but having taken refuge in the locker rooms for his safety, he was not able to specify what exactly had happened.

The Drulingen club has been rewarded several times with fair play awards in recent years and has never experienced such incidents, specifies the LGEF.

The leaders of the League deplore “a deleterious climate” around amateur football fields and deplore, like their counterparts in the District of Alsace, the increase in incidents since the start of the season.
