Domestic fuel oil prices this Sunday, November 17

For several days, the prices of domestic fuel oil in have remained at the same levels, which are particularly low. For households heating with oil, this is an opportunity to save money before a possible surge in prices in the coming weeks.

This Sunday, November 17, ordinary fuel oil is exactly 1.110 euros per liter, according to the specialized site Prixfioul.fr. As for the superior, it is sold on average at 1.129 euros per liter. Whether for ordinary or superior fuel oil, the prices indicated on this platform are very close to those observed over the last few days.

For its part, the Fioulreduc site displays an average price of 1.102 euros per liter. According to this online comparator too, today's price is very close to those recorded in the middle of the week. Finally, on the Fioulmarket site, fuel oil is sold for 1,109 euros on average for a purchase of 1,000 liters. For this platform, the price of the day is exactly the same as that observed during the day on Saturday.

Where to find the cheapest domestic fuel oil in France this Sunday?

According to the Fioulreduc.fr platform, which compares the prices of domestic fuel oil between regions, it is in Franche-Comté that we find the cheapest price in France today, with 1,059 euros on average for a purchase of 1,000 liters. Conversely, it is in Auvergne that the price is the highest in the entire country, with 1,134 euros for an order of 1,000 liters. For comparison, the difference in prices between Franche-Comté and Auvergne amounts to 75 euros for a purchase of 1,000 liters.

In the coming days, or even weeks, domestic fuel prices could start to rise again. For good reason, during the winter season, the demand for fuel oil explodes. And when demand is greater, prices are also higher. That's not all, an upward trend in oil prices will also have a direct impact on domestic fuel prices in France.

But for the moment, oil prices have also remained at rather low levels for several days, a stagnation which is obviously not without consequences on the domestic fuel oil market in France. According to the specialized site Prixdubaril, Brent from the North Sea is quoted at $71.04 this Sunday morning, while West Texas Intermediate (WTI) is at $67.02 per barrel.
