He is the son of the owner of this pizzeria located a few dozen meters from the ring road. He was holding “three or four employees” and was arrested. The BIS managed to free the hostages. The intervention took place without incident.
Speaking to RTL, Choukri recounts how he witnessed the suspect's angry attack, who then took several colleagues hostage. When he arrives at restaurant“the man was a little aggressive, he says. I said to him: 'What's going on?'. He said to me: 'There's nothing, there's nothing'. I went down to start the service and then I heard noises.”
“He hit the bartender, he continues, he started shouting at me, he broke glasses and plates. I told him: “'I want to go home, I can't work like this.' He slapped me on the back with his feet.” “Every time he works with us, he's very nervous. We can't work quietly,” adds the employee. “I don't know what his problem is.”
