Even under the torrential rains that have been falling for several days in Libreville, the Platform for National Reconstruction (PRN) teams are intensifying their local campaign by crisscrossing the different neighborhoods of the Gabonese capital to bring the message of “yes » in the 2024 referendum.

“As soon as we validated this tomorrow with a massive “yes”, from now on any Gabonese who aspires to manage Gabon as President of the Republic will be entitled to a mandate renewable only once; every Gabonese can now dream, unlike what happened before,” Rodrigue Brillant Asseko, head of the campaign program for the yes to the new constitution, insisted the populations in the various talks.

In the Dragages district in Nzeng-Ayong in 6th district of Libreville for example, the platform for National Reconstruction which is a federating structure of several dozen associations from the 9 provinces whose objective is to contribute to the development of the country under the leadership of its Executive Secretary, Éric Boumah , proceeded to distribute some copies of the new constitution to the populations. This is to allow the latter to appreciate the progress contained in the new fundamental law.

PRN believes that the 173 articles of the draft constitution restore “dignity to the Gabonese people and that the constitution is like a foundation in the process of Reconstruction of a new Gabon”.

PRN’s campaign program was also done digitally. It took place through Masterclasses to interest more young people in voting for “yes” to validate the new constitution and envisage a “serene future”.
