Scheduled for this November, but still without a specific release date, there were some reasons to worry about the Amerzone remake. Without too much surprise therefore, the French publisher Microids comes to give us some news about the title through a press release which announces the postponement of the Amerzone for a few months – The Explorer's Testamentcurrently in development in its Parisian studio.
The return of the game originally imagined by Benoit Sokal in 1999 will wait therefore the second quarter of 2025for a release now planned between the months of April and June SO. Remember that the game takes the form of a point n' click which will send us to a fictional country in search of the Great White Birds. Like Myst or Riven, you will have to solve various puzzles, while enjoying completely reworked graphics. An additional waiting period which should make it possible to bring a final touch to the development of the game, and thus avoid a catastrophe like with XIII or Tintin Reporter: Les Cigares du Pharaon.
