The Ilan Halimi Prize rewards projects carried out by young people under the age of 25 to combat racist and anti-Semitic prejudices and stereotypes. It is an important event to promote the commitment of young people in defending the values of the Republic.
Opening of applications for the 7th edition of the Ilan Halimi Prize
To fight against racism and anti-Semitism which fuel withdrawal into oneself, hatred of others and barbarism, Othman Nasrou, Secretary of State responsible for citizenship and the fight against discrimination, launches the seventh edition of the Ilan HALIMI Prize.
This prize highlights the commitment of young people against ignorance and stereotypes. It is through education and culture that we fight to promote openness to others and solidarity.
The Ilan HALIMI Prize makes it possible to mobilize and reward groups of young people under the age of 25, in a school setting or not, who take action contributing to reducing racist and anti-Semitic prejudices. This year, a student prize is being created.
The actions presented must have been carried out during the year 2023 or 2024.
Applications must be submitted before December 31, 2024.he finalists will be invited to Paris in February 2025 to present their action during a ceremony at the Hôtel de Matignon.

What types of projects are expected?
Since its first edition, the DILCRAH has received numerous applications in the school, university or associative context, in the fields of sport, culture or history, for the production of podcasts, films, books, exhibitions, live shows, for collecting testimonies or researching archives, etc.
