This Wednesday, November 13, a body was found in a car in Switzerland while Déborah, a depressed mother, was wanted for the murder of these 3 children at their family home in Taninges, in Haute-Savoie. A major search system had been put in place to find the trace of the main suspect in the case.

“The Swiss authorities have confirmed the identity of the person found dead, it is indeed the mother of the three children” explains prosecutor Boris Duffau, specifying that he does not have “autopsy results”.

A body discovered by grandparents

His vehicle was initially reported when crossing the border. His vehicle was then found in Switzerland, with the body of this inanimate 45-year-old woman. The circumstances and causes of his death are not yet known. It was the grandparents who discovered the car, worried at not having seen the children at lunchtime.

The mother is accused of killing her three children aged 2, 11 and 13. It was the father who made this dramatic discovery at the family home. A teacher, she had left behind a letter in which she explained that she had fled into the surrounding mountains.
