Triple infanticide in Haute-Savoie: The body of the woman found yesterday in a car in Switzerland is indeed that of the mother (Prosecutor)

The body discovered Wednesday in a car in Switzerland is indeed that of the mother suspected of having killed her three children on Tuesday in the village of Taninges, in Haute-Savoie, said the Bonneville prosecutor’s office.

“The Swiss authorities have confirmed the identity of the person found deceased, it is indeed the mother of the three children,” indicates prosecutor Boris Duffau in a press release, adding that he does not have “the autopsy results” on the causes of death of this 45-year-old teacher.

Remember that yesterday, after more than 24 hours of searching to find the mother suspected of having killed her three children on Tuesday in Taninges (Haute-Savoie), a body was found in a car in a small village on the border Franco-Swiss, sources close to the matter told AFP.

Two boys aged 2 and 11 and a girl aged 13 were found dead on Tuesday in the house of this blended family living in Taninges. A blatant investigation for “intentional homicide” was opened and their mother, a teacher described as depressed, had been wanted since the discovery of the bodies.

The search mobilized on Tuesday and Wednesday around sixty members of the police and a helicopter to search the massifs surrounding this small mountain town close to the Swiss border.
