After a first death threat letter received in December 2023, the technology teacher always insisted on working in the establishment. Even when a second letter reached him, a week after the start of the school year, last September. The third arrived two days ago, slipped under the door of her classroom, while she was teaching. “We admire our colleague, who still comes to work despite everything she has suffered over the past year”confie Fred Bardy.

Among the students, concern is in order. “It’s scary to know that a teacher was threatened three times in this same high school, probably by the same studentindicates a high school student. Three is still a lot, and she didn't ask for anything. It’s worrying.” For its part, another high school says it is incomprehensible. “We don’t know what’s happening and why.. We were not informed, nor were our parents.”

For the moment, a mobile security system has been set up by the rectorate. The Libourne public prosecutor's office has opened an investigation to try to clarify the circumstances of these personal attacks which have been affecting the teacher for almost a year. The investigation is carried out by the Libourne research brigade.
