THE investigations continuethis Thursday morning, after the attack on a gold buying shop in the 6th arrondissement of Lyon on Wednesday after dark.
According to information from'news Lyonthese are two individuals who are actively sought by Lyon police investigators. A duo who would have used a powerful explosive during this attempted robbery.
Here's what we know.
Two suspected robbers
The robbery took place shortly after 6:30 p.m., as night fell on the town. This is the shop gold redemption of the Franklin-Roosevelt course which was targeted.
Two individuals are believed to be involved in the attack, according to a source close to the matter. Two people who arrived hooded in front of the establishment using an electric scooter.

Explosive used?
The two criminals then taped explosives on the window of the gold buying store. Before setting it on fire, they allegedly asked passers-by to step back so as not to be injured during the explosion. But for some reason still unknown, the bomb did not work.
The explosive device was finally neutralized thanks to a mine clearance operation which caused the neighborhood closure known to be very commercial.
According to a police source, TATPalso known as acetone peroxide, may have been used by the robbers. A powerful, unstable explosive frequently used in terrorist attacks.
The chased duo
The two suspects finally fled without loot. They remain actively hunted by the police, as part of an investigation notably opened for acquisition, possession and transport of explosives to meetings and attempted theft with a weapon by an organized gang.
Fortunately, no injuries is to be deplored among the two employees who were in the attacked store at the time of the events.
