A man in his forties found dead after a house fire in Saint-Jospeh

Two fires took place a few hours apart in Martinique, first in Saint-Jospeh then in Trois-Îlets, Sunday November 10, 2024. In both cases, the fire attacked residential houses. A person was found dead in one of them, reports Martinique the 1st .

The body of the victim was discovered after the first fire, which occurred in the morning, around 8:15 a.m. It is a man aged around forty, our colleagues specify. The house in which he was found was completely destroyed by the flames.

The second disaster occurred around 2:50 p.m. It mobilized around twenty firefighters and three intervention machines, indicates the information site. On site, emergency services were able to evacuate the residents in time, including some who had been poisoned by the smoke.
