A very high voltage line affected
For its part, Enedis mentioned an “incident” on a very high voltage line as shared by France Bleu Périgord. These lines, of 225,000 volts, serve a lot of houses, hence the 125,000 homes affected. One of the consequences is the extinction of traffic lights in the large towns of the Bergerac and Périgueux department, as some Périgourdins have reported to our colleagues.
At this time, no return date or time has been communicated by the electricity transmission network.
