After the violent fire, the huge Barcarès Christmas village will finally open on November 23

The opening was ultimately postponed for a week. After the large fire which destroyed several restaurants during the night from Sunday to Monday, the Barcarès town hall plans to open the Christmas village Saturday November 23a week later than expected. We still do not know precisely under what circumstances this opening will take place.

Concerning the investigation into the origin of the fire, the Perpignan public prosecutor’s office indicated this Tuesday that “the accidental track is for the moment favored but at this stage nothing has been ruled out.”
