A call for donations launched by Béarnais confectioners affected by a fire in their warehouse in Lons

The day after serious fire which ravaged the stocks and manufacturing equipment of Kuku La Praline and Labo des Tokésand call for solidarity was launched by the Pau confectioners this Monday, November 11. An online fundraiser has been opened, to appeal to the generosity of anonymous people, and to raise funds to enable confectioners to recover from a disaster which caused great damage.

The flames destroyed the production laboratory of the two brands, taking away the production equipment and the foodstuffs stored, particularly for the Christmas holidays. The infrastructures allowing the work of the products were also affected. An incident that occurred when the confectioners had just opened their stores in the city center of Pauin the passage of the Palais des Pyrénées. “Each contribution, however modest, represents a further step towards the resumption and relaunch of our activities” write on the online prize pool Pierre and Nicolas, the two managers, “Thanks to you, we hope to be able to meet this challenge and revive our brands that are so important to us”.
