By overtaking the Chinese Jingkun Liang thanks to his victory at the WTT in Montpellier then his quarter-final in Frankfurt, Félix Lebrun climbed to 4th place in the world rankings. The best mark of his career, with five French people joining him in the top 100.

Things are still high for Félix Lebrun, who is reaping the fruit of his progress. Double bronze medalist at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games (individual and team), the 18-year-old table tennis player won the first WTT Champions tournament of his career on October 27. And reached the quarter-finals in Frankfurt, last Thursday, November 8.

Alexis Lebrun loses a place

Good results from which “Féfé” benefited this Tuesday, November 12, to climb to fourth place in the world rankings, overtaking the Chinese Jingkun Liang. The best rank of his career. A little less than 200 points (the equivalent of a semi-final in WTT Champions) separate him from Fan Zhendong to climb onto the podium in the world rankings.

Five other French people join him in the world top 100: his brother Alexis who loses one place (14^e), Simon Gauzy (39^e), Thibault Poret (71^e), Lilian Bardet (75^e) and Jules Rolland (100^e).
