The 9th edition of the International Urban Music Awards (PRIMUD) was held on Sunday, November 10, 2024 at the Abidjan Exhibition Center.
It was during this prestigious evening that the artist Roseline Layo was crowned PRIMUD d’Or, succeeding Didi B.
After remarkable performances throughout the year, Roseline Layo won the hearts of the jury and the public.
This historic victory makes her the first woman to win this award in just three years of her career. The artist expressed his joy on social networks, thanking God and his fans in particular.
“All honor to all lords. Thank you Jesus. PRIMUD D’OR 2024 »she wrote on her Facebook page.
In addition to this prestigious trophy, Roseline Layo also received a check for 20 million FCFA. All the winners in the different categories were rewarded with a trophy.
It should also be remembered that, for this edition, all the winners in the different categories will each receive a piece of land.
Didi B, winner of the previous edition, was named “Best French-speaking African rap artist” during this 9th ceremony.
If the joy was palpable among many artists, this was not the case for all.
BB sans OS de Man, for example, expressed his disappointment on social networks, showing himself to be very affected by not having won a prize.
