We had to wait 45 years but that’s it! For the first time in their career, The Cure is number one in the French Top Albums. For its big comeback after 16 years of absence, the group seduced 20,600 fans to the sound of the album “Songs of a Lost World”. Enough to bring “Goat” down to second place on the podium. The joint album of Ninho and Niska recorded 14,400 sales for its second week of operation, a drop of 58%. Werenoi completes the top three with the reissue “Pyramide 2”, acclaimed 12,100 times (-17%). SDM also lost a place with “A la vie à la mort”, which attracted 9,700 fans (-16%), while Tiakola gained a place and is positioned fifth with the mixtape “BDLM Vol 1” (6,400 units, -9% ).

If the compilation NRJ Awards 2024 logically moves up in the rankings following the broadcast of the ceremony (from 28th to 15th place with 3,300 units, +43%), it falls for Louane.
