Christmas is only a month and a half away, but the gift-giving season is already in full swing. Toy catalogs have arrived in mailboxes and it seems that November is the best month for Christmas shopping, with some businesses inflating prices as December 25 approaches.
In this context, many French people are eagerly awaiting the Christmas bonus. In 2023, more than two million people will have benefited. Paid under conditions by the Family Allowance Fund, the MSA or France Travail, this state aid is usually paid around December 15.
It is automatically granted to people receiving minimum social benefits: active solidarity income, specific solidarity allowance, activity bonus, etc. But also by certain people following training offered by France Travail.
To find out how to benefit from it, go to the government website.
