Faced with this “unparalleled tragedy”as described by Mayor Kahlil Bettal, a white march was organized this Saturday, November 9, almost a week after the disappearance of the young man.

All the inhabitants of the city, and even beyond, are affected by the tragedy, as you can imagine. It's incredible. Nobody imagined this. When the search began, we could expect anything, an accident, that he would be injured, but not this.

Mayor of Parthenay-de-Bretagne

Environ 200 people participated in it. The majority wore a white garment or outfit in homage to the apprentice in agricultural mechanics at the MFR of -de-Bretagne.

A loop in the city and a drop of roses

The procession began the march around the town's school and headed towards the exit of the town center, on the road towards Romillé. She then passed the sports fields before heading back down the main street. The march ended in the parking lot in front of the town hall of Parthenay-de-Bretagne, where Ewan had last left his vehicle.

Only a close friend of the young man spoke briefly to say how much he loved his friend. Some participants left a rose where his vehicle was parked.

The family did not wish to speak publicly during this difficult moment, friends of Ewan told us.
