2,400 firefighters are currently on the ground in California (United States). The fire is very violent, it has already reduced 132 homes to the northwest of Los Angeles. 10,000 people had to evacuate the disaster area.
At the foot of a thick cloud of smoke, the line of the fire is progressing and dangerously approaching homes. On Friday, November 8 in the afternoon, a new fire broke out in California. This time he started from South Los Angeles, near FullBrook. Several people have already been evacuated and 19 hectares have been burned. Aboard helicopters, dozens of firefighters tried to control the flames. But the fire is only 20% contained for now.
Further north, many ruins of houses remain after the Mountain Fire. Amidst the debris, firefighters put out the last fires. They also allowed some residents to come and see the damage. Here, things have become calm again for the first time in four days. In all, at least 132 houses were destroyed and 8,300 hectares were consumed by the flames.
