The CNOSF published Thursday, June 14, the list of 14 athletes who can still claim to become standard bearers of the French delegation during the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, on July 26. Midi Libre invites you to elect your own pair of flag bearers.
There will only be two of them who will have the immense privilege of carrying the flag of France in front of more than 500 of their colleagues, during the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. If the location has yet to be defined, we know a little more about the identity of the two lucky ones.
The French National Olympic and Sports Committee has actually unveiled a list of 14 candidates who can still claim to be flag bearers, a pair necessarily made up of a woman and a man, not belonging to the same federation.
As a reminder, you had to have already participated in the Olympic Games, not have already been a standard bearer, respect and embody the Charter of Olympic Values as well as meet exemplary criteria.
Eight women are candidates
While all the athletes in the French delegation will have to vote for their pair on July 9 and 10, Midi Libre invites you to elect yours with a survey below.
