Rodri Hernández wins the Ballon d’Or with 41 points ahead of Vinicius: points details

Rodri Hernández, Manchester City midfielder and captain of the Spanish national team, has been crowned the winner of the 2024 Ballon d’Or. His outstanding performances in the Premier League, combined with a brilliant performance at Euro 2024 in Germany , where he was named best player of the tournament, allowed him to be recognized as the best footballer in the world. He received 1,170 votes, 41 more than Vinicius, who received 1,129 votes, according to data from L’Équipe.

Jude Bellingham finished in third place, while Dani Carvajal and Erling Haaland rounded out the top five. The results of the vote were published on Friday November 8 by the French daily. The ten players selected by the journalists received points as follows: 15, 12, 10, 8, 7, 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1, respectively.
