In a very dull match which was heading towards 0-0, Thilo Kehrer scored from a corner in the last minute to put ASM on the podium in the standings (1-0 victory).
Very well off to a good start in the Champions League this season, AS Monaco passed an interesting test in Bologna, the Brest of last season's Serie A. The Principality's players thought they had gone ahead thanks to Singo's header from a corner, but the Monegasque defender relied on the goalkeeper according to the VAR (19th). However, ASM's domination did not materialize and everything still had to be done after the break.
The second half was much less exciting, with a lot of contact, on increasingly difficult terrain. The Italians took the upper hand without appearing dangerous, and the 0-0 which sanctioned this poor spectacle was almost inevitable. Until a final corner obtained on a great action, and closed at the far post by Kehrer with the tip of his foot to open the scoring (0-1, 88th). A sufficient achievement to carry out a very good operation with three victories in four matches and a big step towards switching to the right side at the end of the regular season.
