After a chaotic launch and still very complicated weeks, Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown today welcomes a new big update.
A new update to download now
This is the second major patch for the game that focuses on improving many aspects of the title. PS5 players can in particular benefit from graphics improvements with a resolution that goes from 1080p to 1440p in quality mode, while numerous optimizations have been made to the title in terms of stability, compatibility and even performance.
Below is the full patch for Update #2. KT Racing also indicates that it is continuing to work on artificial intelligence with modifications expected at the launch of season 2 at the latest, as well as fixes related to ranked matchmaking and the car meta for a later date.
Remember that the studio also recently revealed the compensation reserved for players who had pre-ordered the most expensive editions of the title and had not been able to benefit from it. If this is you, then you may be a little disappointed given the rather laughable rewards that will be on offer soon.
Of course, don't hesitate to let us know if you're still playing the game and if your experience has improved with each update.
Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown is available now on Xbox Series X|S, PS5 and PC and you can read our full test to learn more about the lackluster return of this cult franchise.
