A Video Taken In Captivity Of Ex-Hostage Agam Goldstein, Broadcast On X

The Hostage Families Forum published this Sunday on X a new video of Agam Goldstein, former hostage in the Hamas tunnels, accompanied by the reactions of the person concerned.

“I sit there in the tunnel in Gaza, filmed, asking to go home. With tired, frightened eyes, which the day before had seen the worst and which were afraid of what they would see again,” Agam wrote Goldstein. “Today is 3.11.24, and on this date last year I didn’t know that I would be released three weeks later, I didn’t even know if I would survive, if I would meet other hostages .I was afraid of what my eyes would see. I didn’t want to see more tragedy.

“These eyes, which probably will never be able to express everything they saw. These eyes which looked at the time every day there, which waited, without knowing why,” she added. “The eyes that looked closely at the hostages who were there. I looked into your eyes without knowing that it would still take so much time. How can we still look into your eyes? What will you tell us? What do you see -you there? What have they done to you since the day we were separated?”

“Look me in the eyes, lost and exhausted in the photo, and tell me that I will have to survive like this for another 51 days. I wouldn’t have believed it. And I’m angry, because if they had released me a week earlier, so much would have been spared me, even a day earlier,” she said.

“So what can we say about them? Almost 400 days, and how much more could we have saved them? And how much more we add to them with each moment of postponement and delay. Look into their eyes, and how much more time will you ask them “You can survive like this?” concluded Agam Goldstein.
