Playing for England always made me feel like I was living in a dream bubble. I am no longer able to do what I did before, and do it as well (…) I am ready to make this change (…) I am sad to say goodbye to international rugby. But I am also proud. Joe Marler therefore leaves the XV de la Rose after 95 selections.
