In Maromme (Seine-Maritime), this Friday November 1, 2024 around 11 p.m., a 34-year-old man threw himself out of the window, wanting to escape the fire which was spreading in his apartment. The fire is put out, the man's family has been relocated.

It’s 11:05 p.m. this Friday the 1stis November 2024 when firefighters intervened in a building on rue Charles-Nicolle, in Maromme, near Rouen (Seine-Maritime). A fire broke out on the second floor, in an apartment with spread to the facade.
A man in absolute emergency, a woman and two children unharmed
Before help arrived, a 34-year-old man escaped from the window, falling from the 2nd floor. He is injured in an absolute emergency and was transported to Rouen University Hospital. His 40-year-old wife and their two 6-year-old children were unhurt and were relocated by the landlord on site.

The 19 firefighters on site were able to put out the fire and around half past midnight, the operations to clear the facade were completed.
