The starting grid for the Brazilian Grand Prix Sprint Race

Fifteen days after Austin, is once again under the sign of the Sprint format with the 5th meeting of the year of this type, this time on the sidelines of the Brazilian Grand Prix. On Friday, it was Oscar Piastri who took pole position for this fifth Sprint Race of the season.

The McLaren drivers were a cut above the rest of the field since they were the only ones under 1'09. Charles Leclerc took third place but 0.254 behind Oscar Piastri. Max Verstappen and Carlos Sainz completed the Top 5.

Another good performance from Gasly with the Alpine which he placed in 7th place and can hope to fight for points this Saturday. However, the mission will not be simple because the competition around him promises to be tough with the presence of Liam Lawson, Alex Albon, Oliver Bearman and even Lewis Hamilton, 11th during Sprint qualifying this Friday.
