MotoGP Malaysian GP

This sprint event is undoubtedly the turning point at the end of the 2024 MotoGP season! From the start of the race, Jorge Martin and Francesco Bagnaia immediately found themselves in battle from the first corner of this Sepang track. They both started from the first row. But the third round was the final blow for the Italian. At the start of turn nine, in the penultimate portion of the circuit, Pecco Bagnaia lost the front of his motorcycle. Following this fall, he was forced to abandon, leaving the “Martinator” alone at the controls.

Taking advantage of the Turinese's error, Marc Marquez and Enea Bastianini took second and third positions, but this was not enough to catch the Pramac number eighty-nine. With a new specification of his engine, Fabio Quartararo has found color on the handlebars of his Yamaha. The 2021 champion crossed the finish line in fifth place, very far from his compatriot Johann Zarco, who retired due to the breakage of his power unit.
