Trophy
This surge of ideas translates into “double-digit growth for seven years”. Marketed in a limited edition this summer, their latest innovation was such a success, particularly among German and Nordic surfers, that only the exhibition model remains. To be reissued, this is a range ranging from shortboards to longboards for which a technology called Hard Cork, used in the automotive sector, has been used. Between the foam block and the fiberglass is applied a mixture of cork and linen which, explains Nicolas Thyebaut, gives the board “incomparable impact resistance”. A way to combine eco-responsible and sustainable.
Nomads Surfing's environmental commitment also involves its endowment fund, Nomads Ocean Care, funded by companies sensitive to the protection of the ocean. It itself contributes 5% of its turnover. Their first call for projects, aimed at associations, will be launched this November.
The winners of the Neo-Aquitaine Economy Prizes will have in their hands a glimpse of all this creativity, since the trophies are signed Nomads Surfing. The letters NA, like Néo-Aquitains, are made from plastic caps collected locally and melted at more than 250 degrees.
