A match that so she waits with great impatience.

– Laura Flippes : I'm super excited, it really makes me happy to play against ATH, the club where I grew up, from when I was 11 to when I was 18. I'm so happy to play this match, it's going to be an incredible event, I'm super excited.”

France blue Alsace : What memories do you have of your training in Kochersberg?

– Laura Flippes : Very good memories. I grew up there. I lived incredible years, I learned a lot of things, I grew up, I keep very beautiful memories

– FBA : What is your view on the progress of the SATH?

– Laura Flippes : I am very proud for the club to see how much it has evolved. It is extremely important for Alsace to have a club at the highest level in the region, even if today it is the region. But I know that we keep Alsace in the back of our minds and I find it really good for young people to have a club close to home at the highest level.

– FBA : A new attendance record should be broken at Rhénus for a women's first division match. It is 5,616 spectators and it already dates from February against Metz at Rhénus. Is this type of operation important to further promote women's handball?

– Laura Flippes : Yes, it’s super important today to see that clubs are putting things in place to promote women’s handball. I know that the ATH carries this into the club's values. It is very important for the promotion of women's handball to create events like this

– FBA : You will be thirty years old in December, you have won everything with France: the Olympic Games, the world and European championships. What still motivates you?

– Laura Flippes : I'm missing a title that I'm really looking for, it's the Champions League. This is one of the reasons why I returned to Metz because I really believe in the project and in the club to succeed in winning this title. In the French team, titles call for titles, when we have tasted victory and this kind of emotion we want to continue to experience them like that

– FBA : Could you one day come back to play in Alsace, for the end of your career to come full circle? Is it possible or not at all?

– Laura Flippes : I'm not closed to anything. I don't see myself in two or three years. Every season I live it, we'll see, but I'm not closed to anything about the rest of my career

SATH Metz is at 7:30 p.m. at Rhénus this Saturday evening.
