Michael Stockton returns to , this time to Chalon

Son of NBA legend John Stockton, Michael Stockton previously played in for , Champagne Basket, and Gravelines. He is expected on French soil this Sunday. Comments from the sports director, Julien Espinosa:

“Since the start of the season the performances of the professional team have been below the club's expectations. Faced with a particularly demanding schedule and with a greatly renewed workforce, we wanted to look for solutions internally without changing the workforce until this week. Despite our great victory against ASVEL at home, a previously undefeated team, our performance the following day in confirmed to us that the team needed a readjustment to recover. It is for this reason that we are announcing the arrival of Michael Stockton, well known on French courts since he played in the jerseys of several Betclic clubs. Michael is a true playmaker, whom we recruited to bring stability to our collective performance. We know that he is a leader of men, excellent communicator on the pitch and perfectly capable of relaying to the coaching staff during matches. With Michael Stockton at the helm, the team will benefit from significant added value in the technical leadership necessary for this group. We are convinced that this reinforcement will bring additional value to our team which we currently lack to be competitive in Betclic Elite.”
