Thursday October 31, while the Halloween festivities were ending at the end of the evening almost everywhere in the village of Matelles, north of Montpellier, a fire broke out in a shelter, between the Paulette- Martin and the adjoining communal apartments.
The CCFF (fight against forest fires) vehicle recovered last year, repainted by the students of the Mendès-France high school this year, as well as the vehicle of a tenant, which were parked under this shelter, did not resist to the flames.
