PSG players met this Monday morning in Poissy for a final training session before facing PSV Eindhoven (9 p.m.) for the third day of the Champions League. Two days after their victory against Strasbourg (4-2), the Parisians are in working order and almost complete before this crucial European meeting.
Absent this weekend due to a sprained left ankle, Randal Kolo Muani made his return with his partners on the pitch at the PSG Campus. After training alone on Sunday, the Parisian striker was able to test his sensations during this collective session. A point should then be made, by the staff, to decide on their participation in the meeting.
If he is logically still too tight to appear in Luis Enrique’s group on Tuesday evening, Presnel Kimpembe was also present in Poissy this Monday morning. The defender has resumed training sessions for several days and is therefore slowly moving towards a return to competition, even if no date has yet been set. The internationals left to rest last weekend, namely Achraf Hakimi, Marquinhos, Nuno Mendes and Ousmane Dembélé, are indeed fit, as expected.
Two players were ultimately missing: Lucas Hernandez, who is continuing his recovery protocol and whose return to collective training is planned for the coming weeks, and Gonçalo Ramos, who is continuing his rehabilitation.
A press conference is scheduled for 1 p.m. at the PSG Campus, where Kang-in Lee and Luis Enrique will answer journalists’ questions.
