Captured Hezbollah terrorists say they’re ‘terrified’, terror group is collapsing, Gallant tells troops on northern border

Defense Minister Yoav Gallant tells troops that Hezbollah elements captured and interrogated by Israel are “terrified” and that the Iranian-backed Lebanese Shiite terrorist group is “collapsing.”

“The prisoners tell us what is happening, that they are terrified because they know they don’t have what it takes to deal with what is happening. Not in terms of strength, combat capability, precision or determination,” he explains to the troops of the Israeli army’s 98th Division.

“This whole big outfit they call Hezbollah is collapsing. »

Last week, the IDF released footage of a suspected element of Hezbollah’s elite Radwan forces being questioned about the terrorist group’s plans in southern Lebanon and the current state of its operations.

“We are moving from a situation where we were defeating the enemy village by village to a situation of destruction – blowing up tunnels and munitions depots, and dismantling Hezbollah,” he told the troops.

“The result is that at every location where Hezbollah was waiting and preparing to attack the border town [israélienne]there are Israeli soldiers.

“Our goal is to completely clear this area so that the residents can return to their homes and their lives,” he adds, referring to Israel’s recently added war objective of the return of tens of thousands of people.
