Leaks on Israel: Macron uncovered the mole in the government

Emmanuel Macron found the mole. The one who circulated her remarks made in the confidential circle of the Council of Ministers about Israel. For the President, there is no doubt, the leak comes from Anne Genetet, the Minister of National Education, close to Gabriel Attal. “It’s false,” say those around the minister who will now have to convince the head of state.

“Knowing the President, he will give him a close examination as he knows how to do,” warns a close friend of the head of state. She has an interest in mastering her files for the next council of ministers.” And to deploy a solid argument to defend the 4,000 cuts to teaching positions planned in the 2025 budget, while Education has been made a priority for Emmanuel Macron’s second five-year term.

Not denied at the time, the leak according to which the head of state invited Benjamin Netanyahu not to forget that his country had been created “by a decision of the UN” had angered the Israeli Prime Minister and provoked, in a second time, the cold anger of Emmanuel Macron. He denounced “a lack of professionalism on the part of ministers who repeated distorted remarks”.

Macron’s remarks on the creation of Israel: Larcher denounces “a lack of knowledge of History”

“It is up to each of the participants in this council [des ministres] to be respectful of its rules out of ethics, personal discipline, so as not to circulate false, truncated or taken out of context information”, he was annoyed from Brussels, after a long clarification on his position on Israel.

Incidentally, Emmanuel Macron also attacked the press which had relayed his comments, denouncing the “journalists who took them up” and the “commentators who did not focus on the veracity of such comments”. It is now on Anne Genetet that his anger will fall. “The minister should start with an education course for her role as minister,” warns a senior member of the majority.
