Who will be the next eliminated from the show Le maître du jeux, after the comedian Jeanfi Janssens and the actor Frédéric Diefenthal last week? This is what TF1 viewers were able to discover this Friday October 18, 2024 in prime time. For this second evening of broadcast, a new episode of the new TF1 game was revealed. Eleven celebrities were still in the running to try to unravel the identity of the mysterious host who invited them to the house, and who have since pulled the strings of the game: the actors Chantal Ladesou, Sarah Mortensen, Arnaud Ducret and Francis Perrin, the dancers Claire Francisci-Ducret and Elsa Bois, host Valérie Damidot as well as comedians Max Boublil and Cartman.
All these celebrities tried to find new clues about their host, thanks to “reels”, small films shown after the tests. Some of them were also able to go to the room of 100 faces, in which the host hides on a monumental wall made up of photos of 100 celebrities. But if Max Boublil takes part in all the tests, his objective is very different from that of his comrades: in fact, he has been designated an accomplice of the host, and must therefore sabotage the investigation, without being unmasked.

Since the start of the game, this “traitor” has done everything to slow down the group, or confuse minds by leading down the wrong paths. And the comedian sometimes has the difficult task of eliminating one of the celebrities, without their knowledge. Discreetly, during the episode, he brought out Chantal Ladesou, whose sense of observation he feared: “it may be that yesterday, she saw me take the letter (editor’s note: the letter that he addressed to the host), so when in doubt, I eliminated it” he explained. Cruelly, the accomplice lured her to the basement of the castle with a bouquet of flowers, then locked her up to carry out her elimination.
But for the moment the investigators only see fire in Max Boublil’s shenanigans…. Thus, Valérie Damidot is far from suspecting him: “he is too chill in his head, he does not have an ounce of deceit this kid,” she said with certainty about him. Conversely, Internet users are not very enthusiastic about his performance. For many of them, the comedian is not credible in his role and not sufficiently discreet. “He’s doing so much too much”, “It’s written on his forehead”, we could read on the social network X about him.
Despite this, the accomplice once again saved his skin during the ceremony of suspicion, to the detriment of Francis Perrin, who was wrongly accused of him. Faced with these bad choices on the part of investigators, some Internet users expressed some doubts: how is it possible that Max Boublil is never suspected? Wouldn’t the show be scripted to maintain suspense until the end? According to them, it is difficult to believe that the investigators did not suspect Max Boublil, when he was at the origin last week of the elimination of Frédéric Diefenthal, who had him in his sights.
