Star Academy, summary of prime 2 for Saturday October 19, 2024 – Let’s go for the second bonus of the 2024 Star Academy season, presented by Nikos Aliagas. The 15 academicians perform their anthem, “Start me again”, for the very first time, joined by Santa.
Nikos greets the teachers before launching the first duet of the season: Maïa and Grand Corps Malade on “Mais je t’aime”. She admits that it was “the most beautiful moment of her life”, and the artist congratulates her. Sofia is moved and congratulates her too.

Then it’s time for the duet between Jean-Louis Aubert and Ulysse on “That’s really you”. Ulysses’ father joins them at the end of the song.
To convince the public to save her, Maylis wrote a text to music by Grand Corps Malade.

Franck and Marguerite cover “The Fireworks” by Calogéro, in tribute to the victims of the attack of July 14, 2016 in Nice. They are joined at the end by the rest of the promo. Marlène congratulates them and thanks them. Michaël also congratulates them.
It’s time for the top 3 battle: Franck, Marine and Ulysse compete for immunity! They clash over a verse and chorus of “Life Teach Me Nothing.” Hugues votes for Marine, Sofia for Franck, Michaël for Marine, Malika for Franck, and Marlène for Marine. So it’s Marine who wins immunity!

Emma, Marguerite, Ebony, and Maïa perform “Wannabe” by the Spice Girls. Surprise: Lénie from the class of 2023 joins them on stage!
Santa sings “If Loving Was Enough” with Maureen. She is very moved, Santa is delighted and she is the one who wanted this duet.
Paul in turn defends his chances with a text on the music of Grand Corps Malade. His hand trembles, Nikos admits to being very touched.
Then it’s time for the duet between Rag’n’Bone Man and Ebony on “Human”. She is very moved and honored while the artist congratulates her. Michaël is very proud of her, he congratulates her.
We continue with the teachers’ challenge, for Julie and Charles on “The Old Married” by Michel Sardou. They have been briefed by Hugues and must get into their characters. Michaël announces that the challenge is successful! And Hugues is of the same opinion. Charles’ grandmother is there and congratulates him.
Jean-Louis Aubert is back to sing “Alter ego” with Emma. Jean-Louis Aubert affirms that she inhabited the song. Marlène congratulates her, she is very moved.
It’s Thomas’ turn for his text. And Marine and Maureen then sing “Wrecking ball” by Miley Cyrus. Michaël congratulates them, Nikos seems to be absent.
Time for a disco medley, where Nikos joins the academicians on stage.
It’s finally time for the three named to sing. Paul sings “Mistral Gagner” by Renaud, Thomas “Des thousands de je t’aime” by Slimane, and Maylis “Escapism” by Raye.
Make way for the duet between Masséo and Joseph Kamel on “He who leaves”. And to end the evening, the students all cover “When I Was Your Man” by Bruno Mars, joined at the end by the nominees.
Thomas saved by the public, Maylis eliminated from Star Academy 2024
11:46 p.m.: it’s time for the verdict. And it’s Thomas who is saved by the public’s votes! Academicians must therefore vote between Maylis and Paul. Ulysse votes for Maylis, Maureen votes Paul, Franck votes Paul, Emma votes Maylis, Marguerite votes Paul, Masséo votes Maylis, Charles votes Paul, Julie votes Paul, Ebony votes Paul, Marine votes Paul. He is therefore saved, Maylis is the first eliminated from Star Academy 2024!
