Elected officials met in an ordinary municipal council session this Wednesday evening to address six items on the agenda. The highlight of this meeting was the deliberation concerning the conditions for the takeover of the restaurant, at the beginning of November, by Estelle Ducouret. The municipality, which owns the walls, will therefore experience the third management of this business in a few years. After Chez Léonie then Chez Lyly, the brand of the Vouzan stop becomes L’Estelle. Angoumoisine, Estelle Ducouret has been, since January 15, 2024, the restaurateur of La table de Bouëx.

Monthly rent: €200

After debate, the council validated the project, namely a precarious one-year lease, which will take effect on 1is November, with a monthly rent of €200 for the catering part only. Concerning the 120 m² accommodation located just above the restaurant, the elected officials agreed to wait to know the estimate of the work to bring it up to standard before opening it for rental. “For this, we will create a working group,” announced the mayor.

Among the other subjects on the agenda, the council voted for an order operation in the initial budget concerning the study costs of the micro-crèche to the amount of €14,140, ​​the work having started. It validated the municipality’s adherence to the three-year statutory risk insurance contract proposed by Axa. He elected Valéry Viorney as the municipality’s deputy to the Sers-Vouzan intercommunal school union council (SIVOS), replacing Jordan David, who resigned. The council decided to grant an end-of-year bonus to staff on assisted contracts before voting on the municipality’s membership in the GrandAngoulême shared purchasing purchasing center — GrAP.

On the miscellaneous chapter, the mayor recalled that “we will have to find a name for the micro-crèche which will open at the beginning of September 2025”, the fiber network should be operational at the end of December and visits to the presbytery (on sale) continue.
