L’phew loveit’s the story of two young lovers who life will separate but who will face all obstacles to find each other again… We are in the North in the 1980s and it is the story of Jackie and Clotaire, played by François Civil and Adèle Exarchopoulos. More than a love film, this fresco combines romantic comedy, social drama and thriller.

With Pictanovo

Pictanovo, a regional tool based in Tourcoing dedicated to the development of the “Image” sector in Hauts-de-France, contributed to this adventure. This is the first film to be co-financed by the Pictanovo economic fundwhich aims to accommodate filming with strong economic benefits.

“95% filmed in the region, for 3 months, Love phew has enabled the hiring of more than 140 regional technicians and uses the services of numerous service providers in Hauts-de-France. Thus, the total amount of benefits for our region reaches 5 million euros! » announced the structure.

Among the landscapes of the film, you will recognize some streets and buildings, because the film was shot partly in Roubaix and Wattrelos, as well as in Dunkirk and Villeneuve-d’Ascq.

In Roubaix, the restaurant l’Impératrice Eugénie, the Churchill car park, and the Hibon wasteland can be found on screen!

In Wattrelos, scenes were filmed in the Tilleul and Cétinier districts.
